Director of Education and Outreach

Chantél Bonner, LMFT is currently the Director of Education and Outreach within Lift Up Voices non profit foundation. In this role Chantél oversees the First Pioneer Legacy Program which aims to break the cycle of educational inequality, by providing resources to underserved communities and first generation college students. Chantél ensures that the U.S. branch of L.U.V. is a diverse organization, providing an equitable and inclusive work and developmental space.

Chantél holds a B.A. degree from the University of La Verne in Liberal Arts/ Education, and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her employment experience includes providing instruction to students within elementary and junior high schools’ special education resource specialist programs and general education departments. She’s also worked as a mental health clinician providing therapeutic services for drug and alcohol dependent adults, justice involved students, and dependent children in foster care.

Currently, she is a senior level social worker providing culturally sensitive case management and mental health services for families and children. Chantél participates on the Eradicating Racial Disparity and Disproportionality (ERDD) committee to help dissolve biases and provide cultural linkages in the child welfare system.
